Rosalie Abrams, of Mason Ohio, died peacefully in her sleep on the evening of July 16, after several days of visits and final goodbyes from her beloved children, grandchildren, friends and family. Born in 1937 in Bronx, New York to Sam and Lee Mutzman, Rosalie was the first of her family to attend college. She graduated with a degree in Dietetics from the University of Miami, in Florida. She met her husband, David Abrams, of blessed memory, in Cincinnati, Ohio, where she had completed her Dietetic internship. She and David raised four children and remained happily married until his passing in 1980. Rosalie spent 25 years as an Educator with the Princeton City School District. She loved exploring, having traveled extensively through Europe, Asia, Australia, South America, and the United States. Rosalie enjoyed reading, playing Mahj Jong, dancing, and spending time with those she cherished. She was a loyal friend, trusted confidant, and the cornerstone of a multi-generational family. She was affectionally know by her grandchildren as “Grandma Roro”, and welcomed them to “Grandma Roro’s boot camp” when they were young. She was preceded in death by her husband, David Abrams and her son Robert Abrams; her parents Sam and Lee Mutzman. She is survived by her daughter Faren Abrams of Mason, Ohio; Ceil Euster (Mark) of Atlanta, Georgia; Randy Abrams (Jennifer) of Charlotte, North Carolina; as well as grandchildren Seth and Jacob Euster, Brandon and Jordan Abrams, and Daveed and Tikvah Abrams. She is also survived by her brothers Joel Mutzman and Richard Mutzman (Judy). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. Graveside services will be held on Monday, July 19 at 11:00 AM at Hirsh Hoffert Cemetery in Price Hill, 1405 Sunset Ave., Cincinnati, Ohio 45238. Shiva will be observed at Rosalie’s Residence in Mason Monday and Tuesday, 7:00-9:00 PM, with a Minyan at 7:30 PM and a Wednesday morning Minyan at 8:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations to 60 & Better c/o The Mayerson JCC or The American Heart Association would be appreciated.
