Pamela Anice Simowitz-Weber
November 1, 1950 - June 4, 2022
PAMELA SIMOWITZ-WEBER CINCINNATI- Pamela Anice Simowitz-Weber, age 71, passed away June 4, 2022. She was born in Texas, but grew up in Jackson Center Ohio. She graduated from Miami University of Ohio, and followed with her Master’s of Education at the University of Cincinnati. She spent the majority of her teaching career in special education. Music was also a huge part of her life, as she played and sang in a band, could play almost any instrument, and always sang in the choir at our synagogue. Her faith was very strong, from teaching Sunday Hebrew school, to volunteering in the synagogue gift shop. She hosted Passover every year in her small house, but it was always her favorite holiday to celebrate with friends and family, and we always looked forward to it. She loved all living creatures, but she was very fascinated with hummingbirds. Her kindness and love was felt and shared by so many people. Devoted mother of Aaron Simowitz and Adam Weber. Dear sister of Connie Flanley. Loving Aunt to Randy and Ron Rogers, and Michael Stoops. Loving Mother-in-Law to Sarah Frietsch. The world lost a great soul, and a brilliant mind. May her memory be a blessing. Services Weil Kahn Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Road, Tuesday, June 7, 1:30 PM. Shiva will be observed with Minyan services 7:30 PM Tuesday and Wednesday at Northern Hills Synagogue, 5714 Fields Ertel Road, Mason, Ohio 45040 and Thursday 7:30 PM at the residence of Scott and Amy Gellen, 6824 Maddux Drive, Anderson Twsp., OH 45230. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Hospice of Cincinnati would be appreciated.
