Melvin Lester Rosenstein Melvin Rosenstein, 80 years of age, passed away peacefully, on May 26, 2022 after a brief illness, in Hallandale, Florida, where he resided for over 40 years. Melvin was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Rose and Israel (Eddie) Rosenstein, on December 26, 1941. He graduated from Woodward High School and attended The University of Cincinnati. He served in the United States Army for 3 years, spending much of the time in Germany. Melvin worked as an assistant bank manager at Fifth Third Bank in Cincinnati, and then was employed by the United States Postal Service for the next 4 years in Cincinnati. He then transferred to the Miami Beach Florida Post Office for 20 more years until his retirement. He continued to reside in Hallandale, Florida, near Miami, for the remainder of his life. Melvin enjoyed collecting Disney Memorabilia and has a great interest in technology and electronics. Melvin is survived by his 8 first cousins on his maternal side of the family. He had no siblings. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rose, and Israel Rosenstein. Graveside services Tuesday, May 31, 12:30 P.M. at Love Brothers Cemetery, 1619 Rosemont Ave. in Price Hill, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45205 with Rabbi Yosef Alt officiating. No Shiva will be held.
