Gary Walsh

March 4, 1941 - May 11, 2022

MASON- Walsh, Gary, age 81, passed away May 11, 2022, beloved husband of the late Sylvia Walsh, dear brother of Richard (Linda) Walsh and James (Wendy) Walsh, survived by nieces and nephews. "Never met a stranger" are words other people say, but it was true with Gary. His wife said that if she left home to go somewhere, when she came back he was always talking to someone, whether he knew them or not. He worked at Pepsi for over 40 years. As a kid, he was always trying to earn money somehow, mowing lawns, his paper route or even selling lightbulbs door to door. All this made it possible for him to buy his first car(a new one), a 1959 green Chevy. Gary loved B'nai B'rith and even served as president of the Northern Hills Lodge. He bowled in their league on Sunday mornings for several decades. His niece Emily always talks about how he helped get her to all the places she needed to go, especially to her first job at the age of 12, when she acted in Annie at the La Comedia Dinner Theatre in Springboro. He drove her back and forth, and she cherished their talks during those long rides. Gary will be truly missed.
