Allison O. Frankel

June 10, 1956 - May 28, 2022

FRANKEL, Allison Ostrow, age 65, born June 10, 1956 and passed away Saturday, May 28, 2022, after a valiant fight through a long illness. A life-long resident of Cincinnati, Allison dedicated her life to her family, her friends and her community. She took great joy in bringing people together for holiday meals and celebrations of all kinds. Allison was predeceased by her parents, Milton and Sandi Ostrow as well as her step-father Sam Kocherov. She is survived by her devoted husband of 42 years Ed Frankel, her children Melissa & Joel (Leah) Frankel, her sister Brenda (Sheldon) Kahan, her brother Steve Ostrow, her cherished grandchildren Eli and Noah Frankel, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Monday, May 30 at 11:00 am at Weil Kahn Funeral Home, 8350 Cornell Rd., Cincinnati, OH 45249. Visitation begins at 10:00 am. Burial will follow the service. Shiva week will be observed at Ed and Allison’s home Monday 5/30 at 7pm, Tuesday 5/31 at 8am and 7pm, Wednesday 6/1 at 8am and 7pm, Thursday 6/2 at 8am and 7pm, and Friday 6/3 at 8am and 6pm for Kabbalat Shabbat at Adath Israel Congregation.
